Japanese bantams are striking and dainty birds. They should be short legged, very
small and almost dwarf like. The stance and shape of the tail and wing position is critical
to the breed. They are very docile and can be easily tamed. They make perfect pets
for small children and adults alike. The breed comes in numerous colours and feathering
types. There are silkie and frizzle feathered varieties also available.
They can be accommodated in small poultry arks and will thrive in the back garden
