The Pomeranian has a striking
appearance with
a solid
grey head and upper neck, heart shaped coloured back
with matching thigh colouring.
The body is long, plump
and solid. The head is
medium,
slightly flat with light blue
eyes. The bill
is reddish pink and leg colour is orange red
The remaining plumage is a
bright white
The Toulouse is one of the larger
breeds and
may weigh
up to 25 lbs and have its body skimming the
ground. It has
grey feathers laced with white,
brown eyes with a long very
deep body with a
prominent breast bone. This breed does
well in
confinement since its size restricts foraging
The Silver Appleyard Duck although a
miniature, is
larger
than the Call duck. It is erect and bright,
with a
compact
body and broad back. The medium bill is orange to green
in colour. It is
predominately silver with beautiful flecked
markings. One of the prettiest ducks available
The Chocolate Muscovy Duck is a
large
heavy breed and
are
accomplished flyers
The chocolate brown colour varies from patterns of white
and brown through to deep chocolate brown
The drake is twice the size of the duck
They are excellent foragers and need lots of space and
plenty of grazing
They make good broodies |
