The Pomeranian has a striking
appearance with
a solid grey head and upper neck, heart shaped
coloured back with matching thigh colouring.
The body is long, plump and solid. The head is
medium,
slightly flat with light blue eyes. The bill
is reddish pink and leg colour is orange red.
The remaining plumage is a
bright white.
The Toulouse is one of the larger
breeds and
may weigh up to 25 lbs and have its body skimming the
ground. It has grey feathers laced with white,
brown eyes with a long very deep body with a
prominent breast bone. This breed does well in
confinement since its size restricts foraging.
The Silver Appleyard Duck although a
miniature, is
larger than the Call duck. It is erect and bright,
with a
compact body and broad back. The
medium bill is orange to
green in colour. It is
predominately silver with beautiful flecked
markings. One of the prettiest ducks available. |
